Subject: Am I Listening to the Same Show?
Sound is average.

Shimmy - I didn't think this Shimmy was anything special. It's about an average Shimmy jam.

MEMPHIS > Rock Candy - 1st MEMPHIS jam is great. Sounds exactly how a MEMPHIS 1st jam should. The jam out and into Rock Candy is extremely generic. Rock Candy jam is pretty boring at first, but picks up a little bit around 8 1/2 minutes. Still nothing too special.

TVM > 42 - Both jams in TVM are pretty typical, and nothing special really. Of course, 42 is one of the longest, most repetitive songs ever. The jam in 42 is actually quite, and Sammy plays around with e-drums like crazy here. Quite good.

Robots - The 1st jam here is a very good, uplifting happy jam. Unexpected for a Robots 1st jam. Awkward drop back into the song. 2nd jam is forgettable.

Lai - Cool jam. There are moments where they get out there.

IRW - Standard

7-11 > Floes - Not all that interesting a jam until near the end when it gets really relaxed, but it's cool that Barber continues with the 7-11 lyrics over the beginning of Floes. Floes has a lot of tomwork from Sammy (surprise!) and very ethereal playing from Barber and Magner. I really like this jam a lot.

Hope - Standard.

3 stars. MEMPHIS (1st), 42, Robots (1st), Lai, and Floes are the only things to really listen to here. Floes is really good. I'm not certain why all the other reviewers are freaking out over this show. There are numerous shows from this era that are much better, and overall this is a pretty average Biscuits show to my ears.

Subject: bisco
This was my first bisco show, and oh my god did I lose my mind. The entire show was them adding layer upon layer upon layer... I seriously thought I would not be able to handle it at times. The very best part had to be the Egyptian keyboard timbre on Shimmy - very spine-tingling. SQ is great too!

Subject: Mid X
I agree with what the other guy said. I wasn't there, but the show holds up well on disc. Very consistent show, like alot of others from the summer. Nothing absolutely spectacular. Just pure bisco-crack. But in bisco standards in comparison to other bands, that is pretty spectacular!

Subject: MID-X Throw-down
All I can say is Oh My God. This was my frist biscuits show and it was a perfect starting point. This was the first Mid-Antlantic festival that they sadly did not put on this year. But the biscuits were happy to be there and they were ready to get the latenight going well.

Highlights would be MEMPHIS > Rock Candy, The Very Moon > 42, Save the Robots, and 7-11 > Floes. And also the whole rest of the show was killer, with a sick I Remember When thrown in.

As for sound quality, it is perfect, or almost perfect, there are a couple spots where it could be better, but no complaints...this show is HOTTT, and thats about all that can be said about it. Get this show!
